Amit Kansal, an SRCC Graduate is a result-oriented Rank Holder Chartered Accountant with 18+ years of cross functional experience in project & structured finance, corporate finance, investment/portfolio management, valuation and credit appraisal with demonstrated expertise, having developed and leveraged business relationships with top managements across industries and delivered win-win solutions consistently to clients.
He has been part of the Aditya Birla Group since 2011 and was one of the founding members of project & structured finance team leading North and East India and set up an immensely successful franchise in that business. His role spanned project linked lending, structured debt and corporate finance solutions to large and mid-market corporate houses. He has covered infrastructure, core, hospitality and real estate sectors extensively apart from manufacturing and select sunrise sectors. Thereafter, he has been responsible for the conceptualization and operationalization of the stressed asset platform including the ARC business.
Previously, he worked for SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited where he set up the project finance team from scratch in North after a successful entrepreneurial stint in corporate finance advisory and investment/portfolio management. He started his career in project finance at ICICI Bank after completing his articles and a short stint at Ernst & Young India.
